Two powerhouses of their industry are in collaboration

So, I am sure you have seen the news that One Piece Film: Red and Mercedes Benz are collaborating to promote the upcoming movie set to release later this year. In the efforts to bring more traction to the movie outside of Japan, One Piece Film: Red have partnered with Mercedes Benz in order to push some car sales with a very unique OP-themed decal. It will feature the Straw Hats, Shanks and a few other characters from the main story.

Here is one of three visuals that I have seen across social media.

Personally, I am not a huge car fan. From a One Piece fan perspective, I am not sure that this is really going to give the movie much of a boost in traction as most One Piece fans are hardcore and will be at the premiere for sure. On the other hand, if you are a fan of both, I can only imagine the levels of excitement at the announcement of this collaboration. Nothing has been said that fans will get the chance to purchase the new Mercedes once available, so we will have to wait and see for more updates.

That being said, there are lots of anime-inspired decal cars out there that hardcore fans have done in order to pay tribute to their favourite anime. Have a look at Ozzyoz Da Vyrus on Instagram for his custom car decals. THEY ARE COLD!!!!!

I guess I'll end this update by mentioning that besides the movie coming up, The Wano Arc of the One Piece anime series is soon coming to a close (I'm crying inside). The G.O.A.T Eiichiro Oda, is taking a break before he takes the time to write/draw the final arc of the manga.

Here's One Piece University's announcement post about it.

This is where I leave it. Simply because I stopped reading the manga when the Wano Arc started to get saucy so I don't want to start receiving any spoilers from the internet's algorithms. Once the arc is complete and has been animated I will go back and read the manga to fill in the blanks.

That's it from me today folk. Andre
