The Muay Thai Grand Prix Introduces Professional Boxing

It has been officially announced that the infamous European Promotion Muay Thai Grand Prix (MTGP) is introducing Semi-Professional Boxing.

After a few successful exhibition boxing bouts held on the last MTGP London show on July 9th, the Boxing Grand Prix (BXGP) was born.

The MTGP will now showcase semi-professional boxing.

This will give many more opportunities to boxers wanting to transition from amateur to professional on an established platform. This is truly a road to professional boxing if you consider the path it opens up to hungry contenders wanting to progress in their careers.

It was announced that the first Boxing Grand Prix will be held on December 4th 2022.

Throughout September, they will be hosting sparring sessions for boxers around the country to come and see if they got what it takes to be on their debut show.

The sparring will be held on September 10th / 17th / 24th.

An admission of £10 will be requested at the gym.

All contenders must bring their own equipment: head guard, 16 oz boxing gloves and gum shield.

The sparring event takes place in Afewee Boxing Club, Brixton Recreation Centre, Brixton Station Road, London SW9 8QQ.
