Crunchyroll Service Launches On Amazon Prime Video Channels
Exciting news as Crunchyroll revealed its groundbreaking collaboration with Amazon. In a strategic partnership, Crunchyroll's subscription service has seamlessly integrated into Prime Video Channels in the U.S., marking the beginning of a thrilling venture.
For anime enthusiasts in the U.S., Crunchyroll's Fan and Mega Fan subscription tiers are now accessible through Prime Video. The Mega Fan tier not only guarantees ad-free streaming but also introduces the convenience of offline viewing. As if that's not enticing enough, additional non-video benefits are on the horizon, promising an even more enriching experience for subscribers.
But the excitement doesn't stop there. Crunchyroll, in a joint effort with Sony Pictures Entertainment's GSN, has launched a new 24/7 linear channel. This channel is now available on popular platforms like Amazon Freevee, LG Channels, the Roku Channel, and VIZIO WatchFree+, enhancing accessibility for anime enthusiasts everywhere.
Intriguingly, Amazon Prime Video plans to introduce advertisements for subscribers in the United States in early 2024. However, for those seeking an uninterrupted viewing experience, an ad-free subscription tier will be available for an additional $2.99 monthly on top of the base subscription fee.
But wait, there's more! The advertisement expansion doesn't stop in the U.S.; Amazon plans to extend this offering to the United Kingdom, Germany, and Canada early next year. And that's not all—France, Italy, Spain, Mexico, and Australia are set to join the roster later in the year, ensuring a global audience can enjoy uninterrupted streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
With these groundbreaking developments, the world of streaming entertainment is evolving, promising viewers an even more immersive and convenient experience. Stay tuned for a future where anime lovers and streaming enthusiasts can enjoy their favourite content seamlessly and without interruptions.
